Seaberry Citrus Sizzle Marinade Recipe
Crafted with tart seaberries, citrus juice, garlic, and farm-fresh herbs, this Seaberry Citrus Sizzle Marinade infuses your proteins with vibrant orchard flavor. Seaberries add natural brightness and depth β learn more about their health benefits while you fire up the grill.
Ingredients for Seaberry Citrus Sizzle Marinade
- Β½ cup seaberries (fresh or thawed frozen)
- ΒΌ cup orange juice (fresh-squeezed preferred)
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 garlic cloves, finely minced
- 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
- 1 teaspoon salt
- Β½ teaspoon freshly cracked black pepper
- Optional: pinch of chili flakes or 1 teaspoon grated ginger
Instructions for Seaberry Citrus Sizzle Marinade
In a blender or food processor, combine seaberries, orange juice, lemon juice, and honey. Blend until smooth.
Add olive oil, garlic, Dijon, salt, pepper, and chili flakes or ginger if using. Whisk to emulsify.
Use immediately or refrigerate up to 5 days.
For chicken: marinate 1β4 hours.
For seafood: marinate up to 30 minutes.
Remove excess marinade before cooking. For extra flavor, reserve some and brush it over just before finishing.
