Juneberry Jam

🫐Juneberry Jam: Deep, Sweet, and Absolutely Spreadable

This Juneberry Jam is rich, jammy, and bursting with flavor that falls somewhere between blueberry, black cherry, and almond. The natural sweetness of Amelanchier alnifolia β€” also called saskatoons or serviceberries β€” makes this one of the most luxurious, fruit-forward preserves you can make.

Did you know? Juneberries are naturally high in pectin and can hold their own in jam recipes without additives. Even better β€” they’re loaded with antioxidants, manganese, and fiber, giving this sweet spread a bit of a wellness boost, too.

At Dee’s Nutz and Berries in Brodhead, WI, our juneberries will be ready for tasting and jam-making by our anticipated opening in 2028. Want early access to farm-fresh preserves and U-pick dates? Visit our event page or sign up for the newsletter below.

🍁 From the Orchard Tip

  • These bars freeze beautifully β€” wrap individually for quick snacks or school lunches.
  • Almond extract pairs especially well with juneberries’ nutty undertones.
  • Try swapping lemon for orange zest for a warmer twist.
