Juneberry Crumble Bars
π« Juneberry Crumble Bars: Award-Winning, Jammy & Irresistible
Few desserts walk the line between rustic and refined as well as these Juneberry Crumble Bars. With their buttery crust, jewel-toned filling, and golden crumb topping, theyβre everything a bar dessert should be β sweet, tangy, soft, and just a little crisp on top.
Did you know? Juneberries (Amelanchier alnifolia, also called saskatoons or serviceberries) are native to North America and offer a flavor that combines blueberry, almond, and a hint of cherry. They’re also one of the most nutrient-dense berries you can grow β packed with fiber, protein, manganese, and iron.
At Deeβs Nutz and Berries, weβve planted thousands of shrubs, including rows of juneberries that are expected to beΒ ready by 2028 (Watch for our event announcements). These bars will be among the first value-added desserts we offer at events and in our farm store.
